North American Illuminated Switch Stands and Distant Signals for MSTS

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
-------------------------
1. Unzip the files to a temporary folder.
2. Backup your original sigcfg.dat and sigscr.dat files in your trainsim ROUTE folder.
3. Copy the new sigcfg.dat and sigscr.dat files into your route folder, this will usually be found in ProgramFiles/Microsoft Games/Train Simulator/Routes. These are standalone files but may be cut and pasted into your route's files.
-------
**NB**
There are 2 additional files: USA2sigcfg and USA2sigscr. These combine the BNSF stock signals, SLsignalsV22, and this release. Delete the 'USA2' from each and they are ready to use.
-------
3. Copy the USsigtexD.ace file to the textures folder for your route.
4. Copy all the files ending in .s and .sd to the shapes folder for your route.

The signals will now be available in the objects browser. The will be listed under the "track objects" category. Refer to the Route Editor help files for information on how to place signals along your route.

**NB**
IF YOU HAVE THE EARLIAR RELEASE INSTALLED ALREADY
This release is compatable with earliar models, the older additions will be overwritten. BUT the switchstand link will need to be changed from the diverging route to the main through route for the lamp to show correctly.

SUGGESTED USAGE:
----------------
Switchstands are most commonly found on yard leads, team tracks, sidings, ladder tracks using the one with R/Y lenses. Link the through route which will show Y.

Switchstands may be found on mainline tracks for adjacent industial siding tracks. Use the one with R/G lenses. Link the through route which will show G.

Distant signals are used to warn train operators of an upcoming switch and its set position. G for through and Y for diverging. They do not indicate block occupancy. It may be used with or without a switchstand at the junction and placed at some distance in front of a facing point switch giving enough time and space to slow or stop the train before the switch. This type of signal may be found on industial running tracks and secondaries that are not signalled and on manual block branch lines.
