GENERAL NOTICE Safety is of first importance in the discharge of duty. Obedience to the rules is essential to safety. The service demands the faithful, intelligent and courteous discharge of duty. To obtain promotion, ability must be shown for greater responsibility. The title of "Superintendent" as used herein shall mean Superintendent or General Manager or any other title designated to the individual company officer assigned the duties of responsibility referred to herein as Superintendent. These rules take effect October 27, 1974 superseding all previous rules and instructions inconsistent therewith.
