Name: Yard Limit Sign Indication: Yard Limit. Location: At the point designated by the Time Table (See Rule 93). Name: Block-Limit Sign. Indication: End of Block. Name: Spring Switch. Indication: Spring Switch. Location: Adjacent to spring switch (See Rule 104(b)). Name: Spring Switch-Stop. Indication: Spring switch NOT in normal position. Stop and examine switch points before moving over switch. Location: At braking distance from facing point side of spring switch. Name: Spring Switch--Clear. Indication: Spring switch in normal position. Location: At braking distance from facing point side of spring switch. Name: Rusty Rail Marker. Indication: Rusty Rail (See Rule 666). RULE 276 Name: Work Limit Sign. Indication: Begin Work Limits (See Rule 832). Name: Permanent Speed Restriction. Indication: Do not exceed speed indicated on sign as prescribed by Time Table. Speed indicated on left refers to passenger trains. Speed indicated on right refers to freight trains. RULE 278-TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTIONS Name: Approach Speed Restriction Sign. Indication: Approach Speed Restriction not exceeding speed shown on face of sign. When two speeds are shown, the upper figure applies to passenger trains and the lower figure applies to freight trains. Location: To the right of and adjacent to the track to which it refers; at maximum braking distance from the beginning of the Speed Restriction. Name: Speed Restriction Sign. Indication: Speed restricted as per General Order or Train Order. Location To the right of and adjacent to the track to which it refers at the beginning of the Speed Restriction. Name: Resume Speed Sign. Indication: Resume Speed after entire movement has passed beyond limit of restriction. Location: The the right of and adjacent to the track to which it refers at the end of the Speed Restriction.
